CARA COLLECTIVE
As the first Director of Marketing & Communications for Cara Collective, I have been responsible for overseeing all internal and external marketing for an $11M nonprofit that focuses on workforce development - including the four entities it owns and operates.
This includes leading a complete website redesign and organizational reframe aligned with its 30th anniversary in 2021; helping coordinate the launch of a national expansion arm of the enterprise; enhancing the digital presence of the nonprofit, including by setting and achieving YOY growth metrics; coordinating media and PR opportunities; and strategizing, executing, and often leading on various campaigns, special events, and collateral in a multitude of media to help achieve fundraising and revenue goals. |
JNFA PROMOTIONAL BOOKS
As part of my role as Director of Marketing at Jennifer Norback Fine Art (JNFA), a contemporary art gallery in Chicago's River North arts district, I published promotional books in conjunction with artists and upcoming exhibitions. I was responsible for the entire content and design of each book, working closely with a photographer and designer as well as the featured artists.

CUTCO CUTLERY
In 2013, Cutco Cutlery, a 65-year-old knife manufacturer, was looking to rebrand their email marketing and website, The Cutco Kitchen, to better engage their built-in client base of more than five million users. Working with a content developer and a site designer, I revitalized their online presence by creating ongoing web content and a monthly editorial calendar of departments and themes that would promote the CUTCO line in fun, fresh, and user-friendly ways while never feeling overly promotional.

ARRAY CREATIVE
For three years, I worked as a contracted freelancer for Array Creative, a marketing agency based out of Akron, Ohio. I wrote promotional copy for use online and in direct-mail newsletters, as well as brand positioning statements for a diverse range of clients, including Summit Academy, Homz Products, Comfort Sock, and Disston Tools, among others. |
DABBLE
I joined Dabble in early 2016 as a Business Development Associate. As part of a small staff, I had to wear many hats to help promote the tech startup - an online scheduling platform for peer-to-peer classes and experiences. This included helping coordinate the launch of the platform in new cities, create email newsletters to email for six different markets, and manage the content of its blog to foster Dabble's goal of building an online community of learners.
