My name is Mark Toriski, and I am a writer, editor, and marketing professional based in Chicago with more than 15 years of experience. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of industries including nonprofit, publishing, fine arts, tech, marketing agencies, theater, and hospitality. Though my work is varied, there's one constant: I love telling stories.
I have done this through the countless people I interviewed as the Managing Editor for a regional publication. I have done this through the numerous clients I created content for to maximize their brand positioning. I have done this through the start-ups and small businesses I supported with marketing and business development campaigns. And I have done this in my current role leading the communications strategy for a $16M Chicago-based workforce development nonprofit.
